Meet Beer Snob Bill

Hey there, Fellow Beer Aficionados!

I’m Bill—just your friendly, fun-loving craft beer explorer! Some call me a beer snob, but I prefer “beer enthusiast who asks too many questions at the bar.” I’ve spent years diving into the world of craft beer, one pint at a time, and let me tell you, it’s been a heck of a ride!

It all started with my friend Adam, who also crowned me “Beer Snob Bill” (BSB). At our get together’s and camping trips, Adam would bring some beers I had never tried, this really peaked my interest in beer and trying new kinds, then I got into IPA’s and I was hooked. The explosion of breweries has just added to my interest and love of beer. I’ve wandered into over 150 breweries (and probably annoyed just as many brewmasters with my endless questions), and I've tasted more than 1,800 beers—that’s a lot of hops and barley, folks!

For me, beer isn’t just about the drink—it’s about the people, the stories, and sometimes, the epic fail of pronouncing that Belgian Tripel properly. Every beer has a tale to tell, and I’m here to share those stories with you. Whether it’s a smooth pilsner or a stout that could double as motor oil (in a good way), I’m always on the lookout for my next favorite brew.

Through this blog, I’m here to entertain, maybe even educate (don’t worry, no quizzes), and definitely crack open a few cold ones with you—virtually or at some brewery along my travels. Whether you’re a craft beer newbie or you’ve got a fridge full of Pilsners, IPAs and Stouts, there’s always more to explore in the land of hops and malts.

So, let’s hit the breweries, taste the beers, and see where the adventure takes us. Who knows, maybe we’ll even learn something cool along the way...or at least discover the perfect beer to pair with pizza or steak.
